Watch Ariana Grande’s “7 Rings” Music Video With Pink Video
Ariana Grande, 25, treated her loyal fans to her new track, “7 Rings” and they can’t get enough of the pink video in a double release. The singer appeared to poke fun at her personal life including her whirlwind engagement to Pete Davidson. One of the lyrics went, “Wearing a ring but ain’t gonna be no missus/ bought matching diamonds for six of my b******/ I’d rather spoil all my friends with my riches/ Think retail therapy’s my new addiction.”
It’s understood Ariana Grande’s “7 Rings” was inspired by a shopping trip the singer went on after her split with Davidson, buying engagement rings for her friends.
Still on the track, Grande says: “They say money doesn’t solve your problems / whoever said that must not have enough money to solve them.”
“7 Rings” is a rework of The Sound of Music classic “My Favorite Things”.
