The first movie I ever acted in was titled ‘Knocking On Heavens Door’. It was a powerful story and my character was a victim of domestic violence. I was super excited but there was just one problem: I’d never been a victim of domestic violence. While I could have winged it, I decided to go on Google to do extensive research and I found out SO MUCH. Do You know that a woman that woman that’s been a victim of domestic for longer than 5 years almost becomes numb to it? I was like.
